FAQ

Where can I buy Uncharted Audio releases?

Lots of places! We have a worldwide distribution deal with the good folks at Kudos Records who supply our physical releases on to an international network of like-minded companies, who in turn supply them to local shops. Support the independents! If you prefer a more esoteric format, the majority of our releases are also available from the main digital stores too, like Juno, Bleep, Beatport, Trackitdown, zero”, Boomkat, Amazon UK and Amazon US.

Alternatively, you can buy direct from us at our online shop. It’s powered by those nice people at Bandcamp and has all sorts of smart deals that you probably won’t find anywhere else. That goes for digital as well as physical items and most physical releases purchased via our shop come with a free digital version, delivered to you immediately.

I want to blog about your music. Are you cool with that?

Of course! We love it when people spread the word about our label. However we do ask that you please act responsibly. Consider linking to or embedding from our SoundCloud, Vimeo, YouTube etc rather than hosting mp3’s.

We follow The Hype Machine and various other places for mentions of our tracks; if we spot one we’ll generally give it some link love but feel free to let us know if you post about one of our artists, just in case we miss it.

If you’ve got something particularly tasty you want to discuss, we have supplied exclusive tracks to several blogs down the years, so feel free to get in touch if you’d like to discuss this.

Who deals with the promotional stuff?

We work with EPM for press and club campaigns and with Obscene Strategies for radio campaigns, depending on the release. We also run a limited in-house mailout. If you’d like to be added to this, please drop us a line.

I want to book [insert artist name here] for a wedding/bar mitzvah. How can I make it happen?

Get in touch. We can arrange bookings on behalf of all of our artists, and we don’t charge a booking fee as we aren’t an agency. What we need from you is simple – as much info as you can supply. Where/when is the event? How many people are you expecting? Is anyone else playing? What about travel/accomodation? What sort of fee are you hoping to pay? The more info you supply, the quicker and easier it is for us to sort you out.

I want to use [insert track here] in my film/play/advert/computer game/compilation album. How can I make it happen?

Most, but not all, of our back catalogue is published by us under an administrative deal with Westbury Music Ltd. Feel free to contact us first to see if the track you’re interested in is covered – if it’s not we’ll point you in the right direction. If it is, we’ll put you in touch with Westbury who will discuss the options with you. The more info you can supply, the better.

Can I send you a demo?

Our roster is rather full at the moment but we try to keep our ears out. We never read unsolicited emails so please don’t send them to us. Your best bet is to send your track(s) to Kone-R via his SoundCloud. He’ll get back to you if he digs it!

How do I contact you for anything else?

Use our contact form or email us (info @ this domain) and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. At times it might take us a few days to respond but we’ll do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
